👥 Who Should Get GARDASIL 4?
Girls & Boys, Age 9–14
The ideal age to vaccinate — before likely exposure to HPV through sexual activity. Only 2 doses are needed in this age group.
Adolescents & Young Adults, 15–26

Key Schedule Points

⚠️ GARDASIL 4 Side Effects
Common / Expected Reaction
Pain, redness and swelling at the injection site are common and usually resolve within a few days. Mild headache, low-grade fever and tiredness can also occur.
Uncommon / Rare
Fainting (syncope) shortly after injection has been reported, especially in adolescents — a 15-minute observation period is recommended. Allergic reactions are rare; seek immediate care for facial swelling, difficulty breathing, or hives.
Stay seated or lying down for about 15 minutes after the injection to reduce the risk of fainting-related falls. This is a routine precaution for adolescents receiving any injection.
