👥 Who Should Get ZYVAC TCV?
Infants (6 Months+)
ZYVAC TCV can be given from 6 months of age, allowing early protection during a high-risk window not covered by older typhoid vaccines. IAP recommends 9-12 months for routine dosing.
Children (1-15 Years)
Children are among the highest-risk groups for typhoid infection in India and benefit from the longer-lasting protection offered by conjugate vaccines.
International Travellers

⚠️ ZYVAC TCV Side Effects
ZYVAC TCV is well-tolerated across all age groups. Side effects are mostly mild and transient.
Common (Mild, 1-3 Days)

Rare – Seek Medical Attention
High fever above 39°C · Prolonged crying beyond 3 hours in infants · Extensive swelling at injection site · Signs of a severe allergic reaction
💡 Apply a cool cloth to the injection site if needed. Paracetamol may be used for fever or discomfort as advised by your doctor. Our nurses observe the patient for a short period after vaccination.

Do NOT take ZYVAC TCV if:
• You have a known severe allergy to any component of the vaccine including Tetanus Toxoid or 2-Phenoxyethanol, or had a severe reaction to a previous dose.
